Does This Resonate?

Resonate

In a world full of nuance, it’s easy to crave the answer. No one wants to feel lost, confused, or lonely. Everyone has an opinion, and it’s easy to only follow one mindset.

Many self-help books promise great rewards if we follow their elaborate plan. If we stray off path, we risk living with mediocrity. Yet, none of their approaches will resonate with everyone, every time, in every scenario. The world is more complex than that.

Context matters.
Personalities matter.
Environments matter.

Any time we approach a suggestion that claims to be the truth:

Take it in with an open mind.
Pause, breathe, and reflect.
Question the suggestion.

What are the counterpoints?
What are the exceptions to this idea?
What are the other perspectives and ideas on this same topic?

We don’t need to have all the answers. We only need to have an open mind and embrace critical thinking.

Does this resonate? Why or why not?
